Deployment Support
The Fleet & Family Support Center (FFSC) provides comprehensive support to commands, Sailors, and families throughout every stage of the deployment cycle. Services can be delivered at commands, Family Readiness Group events, or scheduled individually for those who want personalized guidance on preparing for deployment, staying resilient during separation, and navigating the homecoming transition.
FFSC offers pre-deployment readiness briefs to help Sailors and families understand what to expect and how to prepare. During deployment, family groups can participate in workshops focused on staying connected, maintaining routines, and building resilience. As Sailors return home, commands can request Return & Reunion programs designed to ease reintegration, while families can attend homecoming workshops that address expectations, communication, and reconnecting after time apart.
Additional deployment support includes:
- Consultations for Individual Augmentees (IAs) and their families
- Support for Command IA Coordinators (CIACs)
- Mobilization and de-mobilization briefs for Reserve personnel
- Operational Stress Control training for commands and Sailors
FFSC can also provide resource tables during departure or homecoming events, ensuring families have access to information, support, and community connections throughout the deployment journey.
