Youth Programs
NAF El Centro’s Child & Youth Programs provide high-quality care and enrichment for children from six weeks through 12th grade. Programs are designed to support healthy development, build confidence, and offer engaging activities in a safe, supervised environment.
Child Development Center (CDC)
The Child Development Center offers full-time care for children ages six weeks to kindergarten. Qualified staff provide daily activities that support physical growth, motor skills, cognitive development, language development, and creativity. Fees are based on Total Family Income.
Hours: 5:45 AM – 5:45 PM
School-Age Care (Kindergarten – 13 yrs.)
The School-Age Care program provides recreational, social, and athletic activities for children in kindergarten through age 12. The curriculum includes art, STEM, leadership, outdoor recreation, and health and wellness. Field trips are offered throughout the year. Fees are based on Total Family Income.
Hours: 1:30 PM – 5:45 PM
Teen & Youth Center
The Teen & Youth Center offers out-of-school programs for youth in kindergarten through 12th grade. Programs are designed to complement the school day and support the military and DoD community. The center includes School-Age Care and Teen Programs and is a proud Boys & Girls Club of America and 4-H affiliate.
Activities follow Navy Core Programming Areas: Leadership, STEM, Health & Wellness, The Arts, and Sports & Recreation. The goal is to support youth development through high-quality programs and positive relationships with peers and caring adults.
