MWR Courts & Fields

NAF El Centro offers a variety of outdoor and indoor recreation spaces designed for year‑round fitness and active play. Guests can enjoy basketball courts, handball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, and a multi‑use sports field—providing plenty of options for pick‑up games, training, and command activities. All eligible MWR patrons are welcome to use these facilities for recreation, exercise, and unit events.

Basketball Courts

Located behind the Auto Skills Center, the outdoor basketball courts are open daily for all eligible MWR patrons. It’s a great spot to get your team together, practice your shot, or enjoy a casual game with friends.

The Outdoor NOFFS Zone is also located in this area, offering additional space for strength and functional fitness training.

Handball Courts

NAF El Centro offers two outdoor handball courts available daily for all eligible MWR patrons. These courts provide a great space to enjoy a fast-paced game, practice your skills, or challenge friends to a match.

The courts are located on the opposite side of the racquetball courts, just north of the Fitness Center, making them easy to access during your visit to the sports and fitness area.

Racquetball Courts

Enjoy two indoor, air-conditioned courts perfect for racquetball or wallyball. Each court includes spectator seating, making it easy for friends or teammates to watch and cheer during games.

Equipment is available inside the facility for all eligible MWR patrons.

Sports Field

Located east of the Sports Center, the multi-use sports field features synthetic football and soccer surfaces surrounded by a five-lane, quarter-mile running track. This versatile outdoor space supports recreational play, unit PT, conditioning, and a variety of command or community activities.

Tennis Courts

Located next to Barracks 4013, the tennis courts are open daily for all eligible MWR patrons. The courts offer a convenient space for casual play, practice sessions, or a friendly match with friends.

Tennis equipment is available through MWR Gear Issue for patrons who need racquets or balls.
